A guided tour in Padua or in the Villas along the Brenta canal is an experience suitable for all ages.
Padua is in fact a young and lively town, thanks to its historic university which attracts thousands of students every year.
Known as the town “of the three withouts” (which I’ll explain to you during the tour), Padua is a long town and it requires lots of walking from Prato della Valle to the Scrovegni Chapel famous for Giotto paintings.
Along the route there are lots of beautiful buildings such as Saint Anthony’s Basilica, the Palazzo della Ragione and the Cafè Pedrocchi, where I suggest visitors sample the delicious Pedrocchi coffee.
Do you have a whole day available? Then I suggest a slow tour by boat on the Brenta river. A pleasant and slow navigation which provides the chance to see the villas from the right perspective for a better understanding of the history of this land.
